Statement of Responsibility
The Responsibilities of Direct Care Staff will include maintaining a clean, cheerful environment, as well as assisting with the planning and preparation of nutritious meals. The caretaker is to provide and maintain a warm home like atmosphere which will allow optimum development to the individual. The Direct Care staff is responsible for general supervision of the resident in the home and should provide the resident with the best, safe and secure normal residential setting.
Minimum Requirements
Staff is required to have a valid driver's license and train on Policy and Procedures with the agency. Re-screening is done every 5 years and documented. Staff must have at least one (1) year experience working in the fields of nursing, social behavior, rehabilitative sciences or working with persons with developmental disabilities.
