Job description

Junior Project Manager

Heartwood Renovations is seeking a highly motivated and technically driven individual to join our residential construction project management team. Junior Project Managers (“JPM”) will work alongside our senior team to learn the ins and outs of our residential construction management. JPMs should demonstrate a strong self-starter attitude and acute attention to detail.

JPMs will be responsible for: In office project tracking and progress schedules to ensure all projects are seamlessly moving forward, Construction Management Software data entry, Prepare and manage project applications and provide weekly status summaries, including but not limited to Building Department Permits, Coordinate third-party teams (i.e., architectural, electrical, structural engineering, plumbers, etc.) and serve as the primary project owner that will be accountable for timely delivery of application documents, specs and reports. Prepare, track and manage project budgets through our CMS (Buildertrend) and provide weekly budget reports for active and completed projects. Support residential procurement teams by coordinating deliveries and field activities with all in-house installation teams, homeowners and subcontractors to ensure material is onsite when needed. Manage project close out inspections and provide project completion status reports

Associates degree is required. Strong computer skills including CMS, Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat Working knowledge of architectural plans and/or the permitting process a required. Professional communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of people. Valid US Driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
