Job summary
The ideal candidate for the BIS position will work in our residential programs located in Brooklyn. The selected candidate will be responsible for oversight of all behavioral services including conducting the Functional Behavioral Analysis, development of Behavior Support Plans and Medication Monitoring Plans to address challenging behaviors, and analyzing data collection. The BIS will provide oversight of psychiatric medications, providing written reports to the treating psychiatrist. Required to provide training to direct support professionals on behavior plans, appropriate interventions, and other topics related to behavior, mental health, and psychology. Implement SCIP-R interventions as necessary. Candidate must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and must possess excellent verbal and written skills.
