Hearts Open Home Care is a small business in Indiana with a professional, agile, and innovative Care Team.
Our company is client 1st, always. If you are unable to understand or abide by a "Client 1st Policy", this is not the company for you. We treat our clients like family, which means we protect them by any means.
This is not, "Nursing Home style of work." This is more laid back work. It should be like you are going to your family house (grandma or elder aunt), taking care of them (utilizing a Service Plan), and hanging out (Companionship).
*Companionship is HUGE part in Hearts Open Home Care. Do not apply if you are not consistent and reliable. Our clients deserve care that is consistent and reliable.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge on how to provide care and support to individuals with disabilities or whom are aged.
- Medications reminders
- Warm meals (already made meals), no feed assistance needed.
-Companionship; watching television and talking with the client.
- Ensure the rights and dignity of residents are respected and upheld
- Drive individuals to appointments or activities as needed
Requirements:
-We want caregivers that are loving, compassionate, hardworking, consistent, and reliable. Our clients deserve it. This is what we are striving for at Hearts Open Home Care.
-Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
-Female caregivers are accepted however a male is preferred.
- Experience or knowledge in working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
-Must have reliable transportation with insurance and valid drivers license
-Client is not able to drive because of his ailments.
- Consistent caregiver
