Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting with food production and providing support to the dietary department. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others and have experience working in a kitchen or food service environment. Responsibilities: - Assist with food preparation and production, following specific dietary guidelines - Serve meals to residents or patients in an assisted living facility, nursing home, or hospital setting - Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas - Set up dining areas and ensure they are clean and organized - Help with bussing tables and dishwashing as needed - Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times Skills: - Previous experience working in a dietary department or kitchen preferred - Knowledge of food production processes and basic cooking techniques - Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from supervisors - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, patients, and staff members Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions, including internships.
