Job Summary:

Meet with Heartland Lawns customers and potential customers on scheduled appointments to determine customers' goals and dreams for there outdoor living. Propose ideas and drawings to bring there landscape to life. Responsible for completing and turning in all necessary job paperwork. Works with the Landscape Division Manager daily to optimize production efficiency with the landscape crew ensuring the highest level of customer service. Works with the office staff to effectively service our customers.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Meet with Heartland Lawns customers and potential customers to help them bring there landscape to life by bringing ideas and showing them designs, renderings, plants, etc. to visually communicate design intent.

2. Write and present Landscape proposal for each job to include drawings, photographs, instructions, inventory needed, pricing lists, plant schedules, and the total price for the job. Attempt to bring sale to a close.

3. Work with the Landscape Team to review job specifications to determine materials, tools and equipment needed for the job to communicate to crew lead managers.

4. Contribute to our culture of being Hardworking, Excellence, Action, Respect, and Trust (HEART)

5. Initially meet with the Landscape Crew Leads and assess conditions of the job once on-site.

6. Optimizes the resources of the company by managing work flow, ensuring you have the tools you need to deliver an excellent customer experience.

MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Performs other related duties as requested or assigned by management.

2. Cross trains in other departments for back-up support.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Skill in verbal and written communication

2. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.

3. Knowledge of landscaping industry and related principles and practices.

4. Ability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete job tasks

5. Ability to lift 50 lbs of weight

6. Must be able to have full range of mobility working in various positions including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Bachelor of Landscape Architecture or Bachelor of Landscape Design

2. Two (2) years work experience as a landscape designer; or an equivalent combination of education and experience to illustrate a proven track record in the business field.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
