Functions:

  • Supporting the medical team through the efficient implementation of administrative and clinical tasks, including patient intake, acquisition of medical history, and preparation of treatment rooms.
  • Performing basic diagnostic procedures, such as venipuncture, EKG, and vital signs monitoring.
  • Dispensing medications under direct supervision of the physician and providing patient education and instructions as required.
  • Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in examination rooms.
  • Assisting doctors during medical examinations and minor surgical procedures.
  • Managing correspondence with patients, insurance providers, and other medical facilities.
  • Ensuring the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of patient medical records.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional clinical and administrative skills.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with patients.

  • High degree of precision and initiative.
  • Understanding of medical terminologies, confidentiality laws, and ethical practices.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Current CPR certification, or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
