Heartland Express is Hiring a Billing Specialist Near North Liberty, IA
- Invoice accounts by specific order or weekly statements
- Upload documents as required to websites
- Invoice on customer websites
- Manual rating of applicable charges on dedicated customer accounts at load level per contract
- Contact internal and external customers to seek clarification about billing issues
- Resolve billing problems, paperwork issues
- High School degree or equivalent required. Additional post- high school education a plus
- 1-3 years applied billing experience preferred
- Excellent PC skills required. Experience with Excel a must
- Strong communication skills, especially verbal
- Excellent attention to detail, organized and ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated high standard of personal responsibility and follow-though on tasks and assignments
- Ability to resolve billing problems
- Ability to work effectively with team members and other departments
