Job Title: General Labor I - Line Attendant

Shifts: 1st Shift (5:00 am -3:30 pm); 2nd Shift (3:30 pm – 2:00 am, $1 shift difference) – Monday - Thursday

GENERAL SUMMARY
Works in production/assembly area placing product on the line and assembling product components. May work with simple equipment and conduct operational checks. Responsible for verifying product against shop order, filling bins and loading finished good product in plastic totes on fast-paced production line.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
- Works on assembly, production, and packaging line in various capacities according to specifications.
- Works in Operational sanitation.
- Responsible for alerting operators, leads or supervisors of any quality or safety issue.
- Responsible for in process quality checks
- Responsible for working safely at all times.
- Standing 100% of shift
- On the floor 100% of shift.
- Other duties as needed by line.
- Must be able to work a 10-hour schedule.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and operate tools or controls. The employee is required to sit, walk, stoop or crouch. In addition, some facilities are multi-level and may require ascending or descending stairs. The employee will be lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, use pallet-jack or cart. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Able to communicate and take direction from the Group Lead and/or the Production Supervisor.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Preferred one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
Multi-shift production operations will be in cold refrigerated environment.
