Hearth & Home Technologies in Lake City, MN is hiring for a CDL Driver/Material Handler on 2nd shift. This position supports the vision and goals of HHT by moving material utilizing a forklift or other industrial material handling equipment and using the spotting truck to move trailers into docking areas.

Pay and Position:

• $20.00 – $24.48 per hour
• Additional $2.00 per hour shift differential
• Core Scheduled Shift is 4:30pm – 3:00am; Monday – Thursday
• Overtime as needed

Responsibilities:

• Uses spotting truck to move trailers into and out of the docking areas.
• 50% of the time is spent driving truck and 50% time is spent material handling
• Line unload, Stage and Prepare Pallets for shipment
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials onto and off trucks and loading docks
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections
• Use of scanners and shrink wrap machines
• Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.

Skill Requirements:

• Proficient in basic math.
• Current forklift or Industrial material handling equipment certification or ability to obtain such is required.
• Basic computer skills
• Current Class A CDL, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Lifting up to 45 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and walk 2/3rds of the time
