Your impact:
Hearst’s Enthusiast Group (Runner’s World, Bicycling, Popular Mechanics, Biography, and Best Products) is looking for a dynamic multimedia editor to produce highly engaging motion and audio content that lives across various platforms of the Enthusiast brands. The multimedia editor will generate and distribute content that supports the group’s membership, affiliate, and licensing goals, and makes an impact within and beyond our endemic communities.
Working with the guidance and supervision of the Deputy Editor of Social Media and other senior editorial staff, including the directors of Service, Product, and Test content, the multimedia editor will spearhead the creation of succinct and compelling video clips that not only enhance the authenticity and credibility of our expert gear reviews and hands-on test stories, but also generate revenue through accolades and licensing opportunities with external brands.
You’ll also develop captivating audio content, especially video podcasts that showcase the real-life experiences of our brands’ members, editors, and other experts. This content will primarily focus on the benefits of our tentpole service-based programs, such as interactive training courses, aiming to provide additional value for our existing members, as well as transform new users into paid members.
The ideal candidate brings a combination of technical audio and visual skills and a forward-thinking, contagious creative vision. You have an engaging personality on camera and behind a microphone, and an enthusiasm for our brands’ core areas of interest, especially running, cycling, and an innate curiosity for how the world works.
The role is based in the Enthusiast Group headquarters in Easton, Pennsylvania; we will not be able to accommodate remote workers.

The base salary for this role is between $60,000 and $62,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
This is a position covered under the Writers Guild of America, East, Collective Bargaining Agreement.
