Hearing Health Center is Hiring a Hearing Instrument Specialist Near Highland, IL

Hearing Health Center, a privately-owned independent Audiology practice with multiple locations in the Chicagoland area, is seeking a Hearing Instrument Specialist to add to our Downtown Chicago or Highland Park, IL team. We have been helping our community since 1984, and we are passionate about reconnecting people to the sounds of life. We offer the latest in hearing healthcare technology while providing the best experience for our patients. At the Hearing Health Center, we work closely with every major manufacturer, allowing our practice to be on the cutting edge of technology and advancement. The ideal candidate will be a Hearing Instrument Specialist who can manage independently and also collaborate with a team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about what they do and is willing to go above and beyond for their teammates and the patients they serve.

The Hearing Instrument Specialist will be responsible for hearing evaluations for all ages, fittings, follow-up care, as well as counseling and educating the patient to find the best solution to treat their hearing loss.

Main Job Functions:

  • Employ best practices to provide exceptional patient care
  • Conduct diagnostic comprehensive hearing evaluations
  • Execute a treatment plan through excellent counseling and education
  • Recommend and fit proper hearing devices based on patient’s needs
  • Assist in clinical administrative functions including phone calls, documentation, reporting, etc.
  • May also be involved in marketing and public outreach, including community events, lunch and learns, health fairs, senior living events, etc.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all business and patient information
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures

You will need:

  • Experience: 2-3 years
  • Active Illinois Hearing Instrument Dispensing license
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Self-starter, team player, positive energy
  • Problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Salary & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
  • Quarterly bonus with additional uncapped incentives available
  • Paid time off, holidays
