The Insurance Verification Specialist is responsible for delivering concierge level service on the phone for our patients, providers and health plans.

Pay: $19 -$20 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Insurance Verifications
• Providing patient education, including but not limited to: explaining the HCS program and hearing aid coverage based of coverage and eligibility received from health plans.
• Maintaining patient records with detailed, accurate notes
• Ensuring high-quality of care for the patient, while following HIPPA guidelines on the phone

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience in medical billing, insurance verification or claims recovery
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possess a genuine interest in working with and helping people
• Experience with managed care plans preferred but not required
• Experience with health plan terminology
• Experience with benefit verification process preferred but not required

This position is on-site at the HCS corporate headquarters in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
