hear.say brewing theater is a craft microbrewery, improv performance theater, corporate training center, and event space with an on-site food truck. We have a 7 barrel brewing system and a wide variety of drinks with and without alcohol.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Hospitality Lead, who will also fulfill bartending duties. As the Hospitality Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and hospitality for our guests, while also overseeing the operations of the bar area. This role requires a strong leadership presence, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example to provide exceptional hospitality and customer service to all guests, setting the standard for the rest of the team.
  • Act as the primary bartender during shifts, preparing and serving a variety of craft beers, specialty cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and attention to detail.
  • Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere, engaging with guests in a friendly and approachable manner, and ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.
  • Train and mentor bartending and floor staff on best practices for hospitality, beverage preparation, and customer interaction, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Oversee the setup and maintenance of the bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and feedback, proactively addressing any issues or concerns to ensure a positive experience for all patrons.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for enhancing the guest experience and driving revenue growth.
  • Assist with scheduling, inventory management, and other administrative tasks related to bar operations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced hospitality environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve excellence in guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for building relationships with guests and creating memorable experiences.
  • Knowledge of craft beer, cocktails, and beverage trends, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required, with a commitment to reliability and punctuality.
