Healthy Pets Animal Hospital is looking for a certified and experienced veterinary technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is efficient, motivated, approachable, positive, a quick learner, and prioritizes patient care.

Our goal is to practice the highest standards of care for every patient. We have digital x-ray, dental x-ray, full in-house lab equipment, and computerized medical records. We are fast paced practice that emphasizes a team oriented atmosphere to give our patients the very best care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, educate clients, and maximize productivity and flow.
• Assist with surgeries and procedures, monitor anesthesia, perform dental prophies, digital radiographs
• Provide clear client communication regarding Dr. recommendations, medications, treatments, discharge instructions
• Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive health history from clients with the support of Avimark software
• Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
• Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.

Requirements:

• Certification (CVT) required
• Experience with AVIMark software preferred but will train the right candidate
• Saturday shifts are required
