This position is Full Time and starts at $18.50 - $20.09 per hour. (Previous experience will be taken into consideration.)

Our Meat Cutter position will make you an immediate star! You’ll be front and center in our busy Meat Department, using a valuable skill, working with a terrific talented team. Guests often tell us that our Meat Team is their favorite part of shopping at HL. You’ll work with the finest products available, and meet our farmers and producers who bring us incredible local meats and poultry. Best of all, you’ll be a big part of what makes HL the best place in town to shop, eat, and work!

The Ideal Candidate will: 

  • Properly cut, trim, bone, tie and grind meats and whole animals such as beef, pork, poultry, veal, lamb, venison, and fish, and ensures minimal waste 
  • Ensure that all items (meat and seafood) in back stock are properly placed in the cases or on shelves 
  • Oversee daily merchandising and product maintenance; makes sure shelves are fully stocked, organized, clean and that product has proper representation/facing on shelves; ensures all product is pulled to the front of the shelves and has an organized appearance 
  • Wrap weigh, label and price product accurately and per protocol 
  • Perform shelf tag maintenance – makes sure all products have accurate tags and communicates needs for any changes
