JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is an Employee/Employer Position. The Licensed Massage Therapist will provide top-of-the-line Therapeutic Massage services to our long term and new patients. It is required that the massage therapist have a complete understanding of the musculoskeletal system, understand and express the importance of combining chiropractic and massage therapy. The Licensed Massage Therapist must exemplify excellent communication skills with employees and patients and must set a good example for the company. Licensed Massage Therapist must perform a variety of techniques and make specific home instructions for patients. It is a requirement that each therapist has a current state license.

COMPENSATION:

Competitive hourly pay is negotiable and is based on experience. There is also the potential to earn tips. Additional benefits include optional health insurance, disability, accident policy and cancer policy. Paid vacation can be earned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform excellent Therapeutic Massage services to patients
• Maintain SOAP notes
• Be on time for work
• Keep the massage room and items clean and sanitary- including washing and drying sheets with the equipment provided
• Educate patients on the importance of Chiropractic and Massage Therapy

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Georgia Massage Therapy License

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Must display professionalism

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 30 per week
