SUMMARY The Class Instructor is a passionate and energetic teacher. The Class Instructor will be knowledgeable about various fitness disciplines and possess the ability to motivate and inspire participants to achieve their fitness goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Lead engaging and dynamic fitness classes for participants of all fitness levels.
• Develop and implement creative and effective workout routines that cater to the needs and goals of class participants.
• Provide guidance on proper exercise techniques and ensure the safety of all participants.
• Motivate and encourage participants to push past their limits and achieve their fitness goals.
• Maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere during classes.
• Other duties as assigned by Team Lead and shift leaders.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES 

This Class Instructor must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to demonstrate they can perform the essential functions of the job, along with the physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation. 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and exercise science.
• The ability to respond appropriately under pressure with sound judgment and excellent problem-solving skills.
• A positive attitude and the ability to build relationships with clients.

CREDENTIALS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Certification in group fitness instruction from a recognized organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, AFAA).
• At least 2 years of experience in the Fitness Industry and class instruction
• CPR and AED certification
