Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Client Enrollment & Support Manager to join our team at a reputable third-party medical billing company. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operational support, coordination, and supervision of a team focused on billing system management. Your primary duties will include leading client onboarding activities to ensure smooth transitions, managing healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) operations and implementations, overseeing customer support for EDI systems, and ensuring accurate setup of EDI and ERA (Electronic Remittance Advice) for both existing and new clients. Responsibilities:
Lead client onboarding to ensure all tasks are completed prior to Go-Live
Manage healthcare EDI operations, implementations, and customer support for EDI systems
Update insurance fee schedules into billing system
Conduct regular review and analysis of ERAs to ensure no gaps in payers loading
Identify opportunities for improvement within the billing system
Train and coach support team for rapid resolution of processing issues
Oversee support of our Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system
Manage payer updates and troubleshoot system issues
Collaborate with the IT department to ensure the smooth integration of new technologies and upgrades related to billing systems
Develop and implement best practices for billing processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy
Provide guidance and support to the team on complex billing inquiries and escalations
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with billing and insurance regulations
Stay updated with industry trends and changes in billing practices to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the team
Qualifications and Requirements:
Thorough knowledge and working experience of CPT, HCPC, and ICD10 codes, HCFA 1500 claim forms, HIPAA, medical billing and insurance regulations
Experience with automated billing systems and data management systems
Strong management skills with the ability to manage staff and respond to support requests professionally and in a timely manner
Experience with Massachusetts-based and national insurance plans is a must
Knowledge of the Harris CareTracker billing system is a plus
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
