**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Wellness Medical Director to oversee our wellness medicine operations. The ideal candidate will provide leadership, guidance, and expertise to ensure the delivery of high-quality wellness medicine.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement medical policies, procedures, and protocols in line with industry standards.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
-MDs, or DOs may only provide those services that they are competent to perform based on their education, training, and experience and which are consistent with a delegation agreement.
The supervising practitioner and the RN shall determine which procedures may be performed and the degree of supervision under which the RN performs the procedure.
In this collaborative agreement, it is the prescribing practitioners duty to:
● Sign and review documents or legal patient charting records within legal limits as indicated at least once per month.
Prescribe therapies or medicine whether by verbal order to the RN or signed standing orders for IV hydration therapy, Medical weight loss program, Acne/Anti-ageing cream, BHRT, and Hyberbaric Oxygen therapy.
**Requirements:**
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in a relevant specialty.
- Proven experience in a clinical setting with a focus on wellness care.
