Position Summary:

The Grants Administrator will be responsible for all post-award grant activities including, but not limited to, contracting, reporting, tracking, invoicing, and managing relationships with government, corporate and community funders. This position will coordinate and manage all aspects of grants from notice of award to final close out. Compensation is dependent on skills and experience.

Your contribution to the team includes: 

  • Negotiate grants contracts as designated by Grants Administration Supervisor.
  • Serve as liaison between program staff and funding organization. Hosts scoping meetings to plan the life of the grant.
  • Maintain tracking system to ensure contract compliance with stated requirements.
  • Prepare and submit required progress and close-out reports to funders.
  • Interpret grant contracts and ensure compliance with program staff, finance staff and senior leaders.
  • Maintain, with grant writers and Development staff, funding records in database system.
  • Coordinate with Finance and Data Analytics staff to ensure accurate and timely reporting and billing.
  • Serve as a liaison for our federal funding through HRSA and as one of HealthPoint’s Subject Matter Expert in our Health Center Programs. Ensure reporting, compliance outcomes are properly reported.
  • Maintain good attendance, is punctual and works full scheduled shift is a condition of employment.
  • Demonstrate respectful, professional and appropriate behavior that supports a team-oriented work environment.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the mission, core values and goals of HealthPoint and its healthcare delivery including the ability to integrate values of justice, respect, compassion, excellence and stewardship into appropriate programs and services.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Secondary Duties and Responsibility 

  • Supporting program managers in creating and revising budgets and staffing decisions to meet goals.
  • Meet with grant writer and other Development staff to maintain close relationships with funders.
  • Facilitate post-award site visits with appropriate staff.
  • Update Senior leadership on grants progress and results.
  • Ensure Federal Grants compliance with appropriate staff and grant liaisons.

Must have’s you’ll need to be successful:

  •  Bachelor’s degree and two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience, preferably in a non-profit.
  • Demonstrated operating knowledge of computers. Intermediate level of Word, Excel, and Outlook. Federal EHB, Raiser’s Edge or other database systems, project management software a plus.

Proof of immunizations and/or immunity to: COVID-19, MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella), Varicella, Annual Influenza, and TB Quantifier are required for all employees. Additionally, if you work in a HealthPoint clinic, Tdap (within last 10 years) is required. Hepatitis B. is required for clinical employees with potential exposure to blood/blood products. All immunizations are a condition of employment. Upon hire, employees must provide proof of their immunizations and/or immunity prior to starting or no later than their fifth (5) business day of employment.
