HealthPartners is Hiring a Research Assistant Near Paul, MN

Job Description

The Regions Hospital/RHSC Research Assistant part of an integral and collaborative research team located at the HealthPartners Neuroscience Center. We are looking for a motivated energetic individual who approaches work from a patient centered perspective, and has passion around finding new treatments for disease affecting the brain and spine.

This position will conduct clinical research to improve the treatment and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease, stroke, and other CNS disorders. In addition, duties will include development and implementation of research protocols that may include cognitive assessments, blood draw protocols, and biomarker assays. Other duties will include potential support of pre-clinical studies as needed, training of research assistants, preparation of manuscripts/reports, as well as general lab and office activities.

Work schedule: 1.0 Day shift

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree with considerable coursework in a science related field such as chemistry, biology, etc.

Experience: Research experience in neuroscience, neuroanatomy, pharmacology, biochemistry, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience: Prefer minimum of six (6) months
