Job Description

Park Nicollet Dermatologic Surgery is looking to hire a Histology Technician to join our Mohs Lab team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. We currently have 4 Mohs Surgeons who are supported by a number of Histology Technicians. This role would be a full time position with a Monday-Friday schedule. No weekends or Holidays.

This position receives, accessions, and performs histology laboratory testing in accordance with laboratory protocol.

Work Schedule: 4 days per week. No weekends. No Holidays

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
  • High school diploma
• Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
  • American Society of Clinical Pathology or National Certification Agency
  • Must attain certification within 18 months of hire.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform work requiring manual dexterity.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
  • Associate degree and graduate of a school of Histotechnology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
