Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN is looking for exceptional, patient focused ED Coordinators to join our Emergency Department team and make a difference for our patients and our community.
Regions Hospital is one of only three hospitals in Minnesota that is verified as a Level I Trauma Center for both adults and for children with the expertise and technology to treat the most serious injuries 24/7. Our Emergency Department is designed to treat patients in acuity-based care pods. You'll find yourself in a fast-paced environment with over 90,000 ED visits per year.
ED Coordinators are one of the Emergency Center's first line of contact with emergency patients, patient families, physicians, nurses, paramedics, police officers and other para‑medical personnel both in‑house and outside the hospital. This is an excellent position for someone who possesses a high degree of public contact skills.
Other responsibilities as an ED coordinator includes entering patient care data, ordering tests as directed, chart processing, admitting patients, screening and answering phone calls, as well as other tasks as assigned. Coordinates patient flow and assists physicians and nurses with all aspects of patient care. ED Coordinators tasks must be constantly prioritized and executed quickly and accurately.
