HealthPartners is currently hiring for a Clinical Product Analyst, Virtuwell. The Clinical Product Analyst is a critical role at Virtuwell and is responsible for bringing new clinical products and experiences to life in our innovative on-line clinic. The analyst is the product clinical subject matter expert responsible for the development of new care experiences that meet clinical practice guidelines. It leads cross-functional teams and collaborates with clinical, operational, analytics, and product development teams to ensure diverse points of views are represented.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a business or systems analyst supporting a clinical information system or related clinical decision support environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate clinical information into protocol/decision support requirements.
  • Excels at managing details but also has the ability to explain the business value and impact of the work.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects to meet stated deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in technical and nontechnical topics with proven capability to communicate complex subject to nontechnical end users in an effective and supportive manner.
  • Knowledge of basic system build decisions, database modeling and mapping, and user workflow.
  • Must understand and appreciate the Change Control process and its sub-processes.
  • Must be able to thoroughly complete and analyze business requirement documentation and turn requirements into solutions.
  • Requires excellent listening skills. Position requires demonstrated ability to communicate with stakeholders on complex topics.
  • Must be able to collaborate with other stakeholders in a team environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to perform extensive research in a diligent manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years’ experience as a business or systems analyst supporting a clinical information system or related clinical decision support environment.

Hours/Location:

  • M-F; Days
  • Position may work remotely but will prefer local/regional candidates for occasional onsite needs.

Accountabilities:

The Senior Clinical Product Analyst is responsible for leading the design and development of new clinical guidelines and rules from the conceptual product stage through development including:

  • Leads the discussion of guidelines and clinical rules with our clinical team responsible for translating the information into documented requirements.
  • Analyzes potential solutions to protocol change requests and works with analytics and operations to scope options and effort.
  • Facilitates the development and maintenance of clinical content from providers and our customer experience team.
  • Develops build documentation and tickets for clinical practice and guideline development.
  • Facilitates the protocol release planning process with related product development stakeholders.
  • Plans protocol teamwork assignments and coordinates/tracks status.
  • Participates in the protocol build process including building content and rules changes.
  • Establishes and maintains effective communications with team members and stakeholders. Communicates project status to identified stakeholders through routine status reports and meetings.
  • Initiates and maintains issues logs, taking responsibility for identifying and coordinating resolution of all clinical guidelines, rules, and protocol development issues.
  • Facilitates discussions with Clinical Leaders on clinical practice changes and new care guideline development.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the virtuwell brand, tone, and simplicity is represented through the care experience.
  • Maintains templates and standards for each type of protocol change to ensure high quality and efficient development.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
