Position: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Primary Care)

Location: Prescott, AZ

Schedule: Full-Time

Travel: No

Compensation: $130k - $150k / year

Average Patient Load: 20 Patients / day

Bonus: Percent of Collections

Benefits: Med/Dent/Vis, PTO/Sick, 401k, CME Reimbursement, License Reimbursement, Malpractice Coverage

Job Summary:

As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Primary Care, you will be on the frontlines of patient care at our medical facility. You will work closely with doctors and other medical professionals to provide high-quality medical services to our patients. Your main role will be to provide primary care services, prevent and manage illnesses, and promote health through proactive measures. This important position allows for a hands-on approach to patient care and provides an opportunity for you to build lasting relationships with your patients.

Duties of the Position:

1. Perform comprehensive physical examinations and appropriately interpret lab results.

2. Diagnose and treat common acute illness and injuries.

3. Manage chronic medical conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and obesity.

4. Develop treatment plans based on patient history, clinical findings, and scientific rationale.

5. Provide compassionate and thorough care to all patients, addressing both physical and emotional needs.

6. Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team including but not limited to primary care physicians, specialists, and nursing staff.

7. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, medication, side effects, and the importance of lifestyle modifications.

8. Manage any required follow-up care, including referring patients to specialists or hospital admissions when necessary.

9. Document all patient encounters and medical procedures according to regulatory guidelines.

10. Conduct preventative health screenings and health promotion activities.

11. Maintain and update your knowledge and skills through continuing education courses and professional development.

12. Adhere to patient privacy and confidentiality standards at all times.
