PCA NEEDED FOR MALE CLIENT IN CHARLOTTE, NC.-13hrs/week (10-4p/10-5p)

Seeking a reliable and motivated caregiver who is able to start ASAP!

This client is in need of:

• Needs assistance with ambulation assistance/reminder to use walker, light housekeeping, and light meal preparation.
• Pet status: none
• Provide physical support for patients or residents with daily activities and ambulation assistance, walking, standing or exercising
• Ensure patients receive an appropriate diet by providing their dietary restrictions, food allergies and preferences
• Remind patients to take medications and nutritional supplements
• Note observations of patient behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses
• Stay up to date on PCA training and facility policy and procedures

Requirements:

• Experience with Parkinson's patients
• Basic Health and Tuberculosis screening
• Participate in Quality Improvement Program
• State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (preferred)
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification (preferred)
• Ability to think and work independently and with direction and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
• High School graduate or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License and Insurance
• Meeting recurring training requirements

Job Types: Part time (13hrs/week)

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour (WEEKLY PAY)

Schedule:

• 2-3 days per week

Ability to commute.
