The Developer role involves working with a core development team, utilizing HealthShare and InterSystems technologies. Key responsibilities include software design and development, bug fixes, and the implementation of new features. The developer should have expertise in database schema design, front-end architectures, and object-oriented coding. Experience in a large code base and familiarity with the InterSystems stack is preferred.
·Develop and maintain bi-directional HL7 v2 and IHE interfaces.
·Create services, business processes, and operations in InterSystems Ensemble using Caché programming.
·Demonstrate proficiency in UML design principles, class definition, flow control diagrams, class extension, method overloading, error handling, and stub programming.
·Modify existing data structures and create new ones.
·Evaluate, design, and add indexes to data structures.
·Determine server type for installation.
·Write install manifest scripts.
·Use ISC command line tools for HealthShare management.
·Understand embedded unit test tools.
·Write class codes for complex logic in Data Transformation Logic using Caché programming.
·Create complex stored procedures for fetching transaction information using T-SQL.
·Implement SOAP-based IHE profiles and FHIR-based interfaces.
·Develop ETL extract plans for integration with older systems.
·Utilize Java Component Gateway in Ensemble.
·Write Java Classes and use Caché Java Binding for Java Client Applications.
·Adhere to coding standards and application framework.
·Create and execute test plans, unit testing using HealthShare Util
functions/commands and Unit Testing tools.
·Provide feedback via code reviews.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on sprint plans.
