Oncology Registered Nurse
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Oncology Registered Nurseto fill an opening in Coral Springs, FL.
 
Daily Responsibilities for Oncology Registered Nurse

• Carries out physician orders
• Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, monitors vital signs
• Cares for patients requiring long term pain management
• Cares for patients receiving chemotherapy
• Serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well coordinated patient care
• Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems
• Utilizing the nursing process, provides care for patients with cancer
• Responsible for providing patient education
• Assesses plans and evaluates patient care needs, starting IVs, Central lines, administers Chemotherapy
• Shift: Monday to Friday 8am-4:00pm EST / Onsite

Required Qualifications for Oncology Registered Nurse:

• 3 years of RN Experience that includes giving infusions/Starting IV’s
• Active RN License
• Active BLS License
• Great Soft Skills
• Phlebotomy Skills
• Comfortable working with Chemo (No prior chemo/oncology exp required)
• Fully vaccinated against COVID 19- no exemptions

Pay at $34 to $38/hr
