Compensation : $58.51 - $58.51 Hourly

Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm Back-up call 1 weekend a month.

Department: Diagnostic Radiology

Shift Timings: 07:00 - 15:30
Roles & Responsibilities

  • The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound studies, demonstrating good judgment in the use and application of ultrasound equipment.
  • The incumbent assesses the findings in the ultrasound examinations and assists the radiologist and staff physicians in interpreting the ultrasound studies.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Requires a minimum of two years of Sonography/Ultrasound Tech experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Sonography program
  • Active unencumbered Sonography state license
  • One year of Epic experience

  • A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
  • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
