Sofo Foods is one of the largest family owned wholesale distributors of Italian and ethnic foods in the US. We are looking for an experienced Trailer Mechanic to join our team. This position will be on 2nd shift with a premium.
Shift Responsibilities:
Provide routine and preventative maintenance inspections and repairs of trailers.
Perform Preventative Maintenance on trailers, repair equipment as needed to meet DOT regulations.
Provide daily documentation of maintenance and repairs of equipment in the fleet.
Qualifications For Success:
Experience repairing and maintaining trailers.
Experience with general maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment.
Experience troubleshooting and repair of air and electrical systems.
Trailer Reefer repair experience is a plus but not required.
Efficient use of time management and ability to work without assistance.
CDL A preferred but not required.
Knowledgeable of computer related applications and software.
Ability to provide your own hand tools.
Ability to pass a background and drug test.
