Physician Assistant orNurse Practitioner Annapolis, MD We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice in Annapolis, MD. We are looking for a provider who can join us on a full-time basis providing direct patient care. Our ideal PA/NP is holistically minded, comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Job duties include performing trigger point and joint injections. The provider will work as team with Functional medicine providers/nutritionists, Chiropractor, medical assistants, case managers and other support staff. We have a dynamic, well-educated team of medical professionals including a physician, advance practice provider and amazing support staff. Duties:
Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
Order and review diagnostic tests/labs
Determine diagnosis and treatment plan formulation in team setting
Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises and various modalities
Manage patient care to include prescribing exercise, nutritional supplementation and medication as part of functional medical programs
Oversee and Administer IV and/or push therapies
Procedures- perform trigger point and joint injections
Documentation and progress notes
Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
PA/NP license in MD
Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus
Experience with joint injections a plus
Schedule:
Full time (Mon- Friday)
Compensation:
$110k-130k per year (DOE)
