**Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and excellent organizational skills.
**Responsibilities:**
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
- Schedule patient appointments both in office and hospital and Surgericenter using medical scheduling systems
- Precertification of Out patient procedures
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with medical billing and insurance verification processes
- Handle medical records requests efficiently
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in medical terminology and eClinicalWorks software
- Strong understanding of medical receptionist duties and responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems effectively
- Knowledge of medical scheduling procedures and patient service best practices
