Healthcare Linen Services Group is Hiring a Maintenance Mechanic Near Columbia, MO
PURPOSE: Provide general oversight and responsibility for equipment and personnel within assigned building.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Mechanic will strive to promote efficiency in all aspects of his/her building. Uptime, labor hours, repairs, and PM completion will be tracked and evaluated against enterprise and national benchmarks. Follows standard operating procedures. Must meet quality standards.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Be on time
- Have excellent attendance
- Meet or exceed plant up-time goal of 98%.
- Maintain building call response time of 2 minutes or less.
- Actively patrol assigned building to proactively address equipment issues.
- Report all major issues to Chief Engineer and Production Manager. Assist with resolution.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationship between building maintenance crew and production team.
- Completion at 100%.
- Other duties as needed or assigned.
- Follow all company safety rules
- Be able to work well with a diverse workforce
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Possess and maintain a positive attitude
- Be able to work past the schedule, as issues may arise
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit
- Cross-train in other positions per production needs
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This position may at times be physically demanding. Lifting and moving of objects heavier than 50lbs can be expected regularly.
- The plant environment may be quite warm during certain times of the year. Ability to walk and stand for entire shift is necessary.
