HealthCare Aide Corp is Hiring a Home Health Aide Near Plainfield, NJ

Overview:
Home Helpers is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to join our team in Summit, NJ. As a CHHA, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide medication reminders and assistance with prescribed exercises.
  • Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping tasks.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.
  • Escort clients to appointments, errands, and outings as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of client care activities and report any changes in client condition to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or Eastern European languages preferred.
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients and their families.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
