Overview:

The Healthcare Academy (HCA) Manager of Information Technology (IT) position is responsible for leading and collaborating with the entire HCA IT team to manage the HCA IT environment, application development, technical support and general IT department administration.

Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration and maintenance of HCA systems, servers and devices.
• System monitoring, automation and integration.
• Collaborate with all departments to lead procurement and deployment of new technology platforms when necessary.
• Work with team to develop and maintain system and software documentation.
• Azure environment management: Azure App Services Azure SQL Azure Hosted VMs Deployment pipelines Azure certifications a plus but not required
• SQL Database Management: SQL Server 2008 and later through Azure SQL SQL Mirrored Instances SQL certifications a plus but not required
• lead in code development, deployment, testing and maintenance. Experience coding in the following is ideal: C# .NET version 6 or later JavaScript Vue.js .NET APIs Console applications Database projects SCORM and xAPI experience a plus but not required
• Support, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues for internal and end-users as needed.
• Provide technical support and training to internal and end-users as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system enhancements or upgrades as needed.
• Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring data security and integrity.
• Department planning and budgeting.
• Setting department and staff goals and objectives.
• Disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Staying up to date with IT industry trends and best practices.

Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related field is required
• At least ten years of experience in IT related work
• Leadership experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in the latest technology for IT systems and management.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of IT and practical applications to support the company’s goals.
