We are currently hiring for a PART TIME Regions Hospital Laundry Distribution to join our team!

Schedule: Sunday and Monday

Hours: 4:00AM- 12:30PM

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Counting linens and enter inventory using iPad tablets.
• Distribute linen orders to each department.
• Be able to work independently and communicate with hospital personnel.
• Comfortable handling soiled linen in a hospital setting
• Use a tugger machine pulling up to 4 carts at a time.
• Must be able to speak and understand English.

KNOWEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Basic knowledge of safety standards.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with an attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work and communicate in a richly diverse environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Perform repetitive motions throughout the shift such as push, pull, and lift.
• Energetic, self-starter.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Basic ability to speak and understand English.
• Attendance is an essential function of the job.

The employee must constantly push and pull up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Fast-paced production environment - non-climate-controlled environment. Union environment with diverse workforce with multiple languages. Seven days per week operation - weekends required - nights may be required.
