Front Desk Receptionist responsibilities and skills needed include, but are not limited to:
1. Answering telephone.
2. Scheduling appointments over the phone and in person.
3. Collecting copayments from patients.
4. Assisting with escorting patients to treatment areas.
5. Assisting with weekly paperwork preparation and collection of materials needed for billing.
6. Calling physician offices to request needed information.
7. Knowledge of major insurance carriers is crucial aspect of this position.
8. Light cleaning and laundry.
9. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel are needed.
10. A professional and upbeat personality and appearance are required.
11. Excellent organizational and time management skills are necessary to perform this job.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
2. Proficiency in office systems such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, or similar software
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
5. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
6. Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
7. Familiarity with medical receptionist or front desk duties is a bonus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
