• Looking for an experienced pharmacy technician with at least 1 year experience working preferably in an independent pharmacy.

• Looking for someone familiar with Micromerchant/Prime Rx software system (1 year)
• Processing prescriptions accurately by transcribing prescriptions, calculating days supply ,and billing accordingly to the insurance.
• Have knowledge in diabetic supplies such as insulin, test strips, and insulin pumps
• Have excellent communication skills and be able to talk clearly to patients and other healthcare providers such as medical assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
• Call insurances and doctor offices to find covered alternative medications
• Must be able to manage work flow and complete all required tasks in a timely manner
• Spanish speaking associate is preferred
• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and calculate prescription days supply.
• Handle money transactions.
• Inventory management
• Verify and prepare prescription deliveries in a timely and organized fashion for delivery driver
• Maintain clean and tidy front store area
• Must answer phones and be able to use computer system to answer patient questions and perform essential pharmacy functions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
