HealthFitness is looking for a Group Class Instructor to join the fitness team at our multi-tenant client site located in San Diego, CA near the Torrey Reserve. In this position you will provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members participating in the program such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit. This is a position teaching on an as-needed basis. Substitute schedule will vary. Must have availability during MWF lunchtime or evening (4:00pm or 4:30pm) or Tuesday/Thursday lunchtime or morning (6:30am or 7:00am). Minimum Requirements Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required. Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire. 2 years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred. Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required. Applicants must meet hiring requirements. Compensation: $55/Class - $65/Class. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
