Responsibilities
- Conduct prenatal assessments, including physical examinations, laboratory tests, and ultrasounds.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during pregnancy and labor.
- Assist with childbirth, providing emotional support and medical interventions as necessary.
- Provide postpartum care, including breastfeeding support, newborn assessments, and maternal recovery.
- Educate expectant mothers and their families on pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for pregnant women.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Midwifery from an accredited program.
- Certification as a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) or Certified Midwife (CM).
- Valid state license to practice as a midwife.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of obstetric care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care with compassion and empathy

Starting At: 99999.0 Annually
