What Will I Be Doing?

Pinnacle Family Services is looking for a 2nd shift Therapeutic Relief Behavior Specialist who will be required to provide direct care services, supervise consumers and provide therapeutic activities during crisis or disruption, provide behavioral redirection, and training.

Am I A Good Fit?

A Therapeutic Relief Behavior Specialist should have experience working with children and youth in a variety of settings, such as schools, residential treatment centers, or foster care. Candidate must be willing to travel throughout Orange & Durham counties. To determine if you are a good fit for this position, you should consider the following factors:

• Strong background in behavior analysis
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care
• Ability to work independently
• Cultural competence

Qualification:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with children who have behavioral diagnoses and their families required
• Child Mental Health Qualified Professional preferred
• Access to reliable transportation adhering to all NC Division of Motor Vehicle laws (current vehicle registration, vehicle insurance, and driver’s license) required
