Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities. This is a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
The essential job responsibilities for a maintenance technician include:
Maintaining Compliance and Documentation Keeping up-to-date with CDL license, DOT physicals, and drug screens as per agency policy. Reporting any changes or violations to management and human resources.
Ensuring Quality Transportation Services Demonstrating thorough knowledge of policies and procedures to deliver quality transportation services for mobile units and agency vehicles. This includes routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Adhering to Safety Standards: Abiding by OSHA standards, hazardous materials protocols, universal precautions, and the use of personal protective equipment. Being familiar with evacuation, fire, disaster, and safety plans.
Providing Customer Service: Maintaining a high level of customer service, assisting patients in a friendly and helpful manner, and representing the health center positively.
Departmental Management Handling department ticketing systems and coordinating quotes between contractors and vendors.
Maintenance Responsibilities: Acting as the contact for building issues, monitoring contractor performance, and responding to building emergencies. Resolving staff issues and complaints and updating management on building operations.
Facility Maintenance: Performing preventive maintenance for building utilities, ordering supplies, and conducting basic repairs for water, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, generators, and structural systems.
Mobile Unit Driver Responsibilities: Transporting the mobile health clinic to designated locations, maintaining inventory and setup of supplies, ensuring the readiness of systems, and securing the mobile center at the end of the day.
These responsibilities encompass various tasks related to maintenance, management, safety, and customer service, ensuring the smooth operation of facilities and vehicles within the agency.
