Our unit is making big moves, currently undergoing an expansion and modernization project to enhance services and increase overall capacity to care for patients in Alabama’s fastest-growing county. The project will impact numerous services, with highlights including a new surgical department with a dedicated outpatient entrance, a larger intensive care unit, new nursing stations as well as a dedicated Women's and Children's unit... more than 200,000 square feet in new construction!
