Job Summary
This position is responsible for the full lifecycle management of the Medicare IT products (application family). This includes strategic planning to tactical activities, specifying requirements for current and future products. Leading the support and triage of production issues affecting Medicare, performing technical development, understanding, and removing technical debt, where applicable, and supporting the launch of new IT products and projects. Works closely with business unit stakeholders to proactively address production product issues and provide product support for portfolio projects. Drives team in the support of the Medicare products, vendor upgrades, software upgrades/patch implementations.
This team is also the primary team to support business/operations for Medicare IT production support related issues through resolution. Leads the IT annual election period process and key lessons learned processes. Ensures teams are allocated to projects or product core support appropriately and monitors work effort against budget objectives and leads the team that provides product support for projects.
The Manager IT Product will lead a team and be adhere and administer HCSC's performance management processes for the team. The Product lead should be comfortable in developing presentations and communicating concepts to stakeholders and leadership audiences and demonstrating professional presence.
NOTE: This hybrid role can be located in CHICAGO IL or RICHARDSON TX ~ relocation will not be offered; sponsorship is not available.
Required Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor Degree and 4 years Information Technology experience.
* 1 years management experience
* Experience in application development platforms and/or languages (HTML/CSS/Java/ASP.Net/PHCSC/Ruby/C#).
* Experience in cloud computing (SaaS / PaaS).
* Experience in DevOps and/or continuous deployment and/or integration process and tools (Bamboo, jenkins, RallyDev, Jira).
* Experience in integration technologies (Tibco/Informatica/CAS).
* Experience in iterative, agile and/or scrum development.
* Experience in knowledge of product-specific application architecture.
* Experience in solution architecture.
* Ability to tie together solutions across systems.
* Application domain knowledge.
* Program and/or project management.
