Description
Wheeling University isseeking applicants for adjunct faculty for the followingareas of 2023-2024 instruction starting in Spring 2024. All applicants must have a Master degree or higher with some non-Master candidates eligible with specificindustry and/or business training certifications, licensures and workforce management experience. Experience in Canvas or a comparable Learning Management System is preferred. Candidates with no experience in any LMS will be required to attend training with the program chair prior to the beginning of classes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Serve as a mentor to students
• Teach courses within the healthcare management program
• Perform other assigned and related tasks as directed by the Program Chair/Dean

Qualifications

• Master's degree (MBA) or higher in Healthcare and/or Health Services Management or Healthcare Leadership required.
• Non-Master level healthcare professionals with significant (5-20 years) hospitaland/or medical services management experience will also be considered (tele-health service providers also sought).
• Prior experience as an instructor in secondary or higher education preferred.
