Health and Fitness Professionals LLC is Hiring a Part-time Medical Receptionist Near South Plainfield, NJ

*Located in South Plainfield, NJ. *

Looking for someone to work Tuesday Mornings 8am-12pm and Friday Afteroon/Evening 2pm-7pm.

We are looking for a qualified medical office receptionist for our medical facility which provides services such as physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic and pain management. You will be responsible for day-to-day operation and maintaining medical and staff records. As a medical office receptionist you should demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to perform well in stressful situations. Our position requires knowledge of healthcare systems operations. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure steady workflows and uninterrupted service in our medical facility.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments to optimize client satisfaction and facility efficiency
  • Answer phone calls and route calls to appropriate departments
  • Order medical and office supplies
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures
  • Maintain medical and staff records
  • Liaise with providers to identify potential office dysfunctions
  • Provide informative material for patients
  • Generate inventory records
  • Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and high ethical standards

Skills

  • Proven work experience as a medical office receptionist
  • Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative processes and principles
  • Ability to handle medical records discreetly
  • Knowledge of medical issues and terminology
