Headspace Beverage Company is Hiring a Packaging Technician Near Long Beach, CA

Headspace Beverage Company is seeking a professional to join our production facility, located in Long Beach, California.

This is a fast-paced environment with dynamic team and a growing company with lots of opportunity. We prefer to work smarter, not harder, while creating amazing beverages with a focus on quality, consistency, innovation and customer service.

Minimum Qualifications

-Must be at least 18 years of age
-Warehouse and/or distribution experience preferred
-Forklift certification preferred
-Loads of common sense and self-motivation
-Excellent detail-oriented written and oral communication skills
-Moderate computer skills required
-Available to work variable hours, including nights, weekends and holidays

Primary Responsibilities

-Handling packaged (canned product) and building orders per specification
-Punctual workmanship when handling goods with care.
-Load/unload products by forklift or by hand
-Inventory verification and stock counting
-Help with general warehouse organization and tidiness
-Communicate QA/QC feedback and concerns to packaging team/
-Strict focus on safety and OSHA standards
-Assist production and warehouse team overall with various tasks

Physical Requirements

-Lift 55lbs and move (160lb ) heavy objects using proper tools and techniques
-Stand for 8-12 hours/day
-Ability to handle and work safely with chemicals
-Handle hazardous materials safely
-Work in hot or cold environment for extended periods
