The Role

Headlands Research is looking for a licensed Nurse Practitioner to join our team as we run cutting edge clinical research trials. The ideal candidate is passionate about clinical trials and making a difference and a team player who can collaborate and move at a fast pace.

Type: Full-time, fully-benefitted

Schedule: Mondays through Fridays, 8:00am - 4:00pm

• Provides patient consultations and education in an outpatient setting under the direction of the physician in charge of the clinical trial
• Conducts study-related physical exams and follow-up visits
• Reviews and adheres to assigned research study protocol
• Works with the study-leading physician in evaluation and review of potential study participants eligibility
• Maintains proper documentation
• Ensures that all clinical activities are carried out in accordance with established research protocol and standards in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedural requirements
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members
• Reviews lab results imaging reports, and other study-specific reports

• Must have a passion and patience for working with patients suffering from neurodegenerative diseases
• Previous experience working with patients with neurodenerative diseases required
• Graduate of an accredited masters program
• Current and unencumbered license to practice as an NP or PA in the state of MA required
• Two years of professional experience working as a nurse practitioner required
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
