Head Injury Association is Hiring a Residential Program Manager (Behavioral) Near Manorville, NY

Head Injury Association is seeking experienced Residential Program Managers, under guidance of the Residential Directors, the Program Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Residential Home and ensuring the safety and well-being of the Individuals we support.

Job Description:

  • Provides supervision, oversight, support and services to individuals residing in an OPWDD IRA who demonstrate as High Risk.
  • Act as a liaison to the clinical team members to address psychiatric and behavioral episodes.
  • Overseeing the safety and well-being of the individuals served
  • Supervising and providing guidance to staff
  • Ensuring the program follows OPWDD regulations
  • Setting goals and deadlines for their assigned site and preparing reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintaining PNA, ISP’s/Life Plans and goal plans/staff action plans
  • Training of new staff
  • Completion of regular staff evaluations

***This is an on-call position***

Job Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with forensic histories, diagnosed with mental illness and/or substance abuse disorders preferred.
  • 1 year of group home supervisory experience and 2 years of Direct Support Professional experience working in a Group Home with a Special Needs Population.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Valid New York Driver’s License in good standing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,000.00 per year
